Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover reaches almost USD 33 bln

Tashkent, Dec. 21, 2020. /Kabar/. According to the results of January-November 2020, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan reached USD 32.97 billion, which decreased by USD 4.9 billion compared to the same period last year, the press service of the republic’s Statistics Committee said.

Out of the total foreign trade turnover, exports amounted to USD 14.2 billion (a decrease of 10.5% is observed compared to January-November 2019), and imports - USD 18.77 billion (14.7% decrease). As a result, the balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to a passive balance of USD 4.57 billion.

As of today, Uzbekistan carries out trade relations with over 160 countries of the world. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China (17.4%), the Russian Federation (15.4%), Kazakhstan (7.9%), Republic of Korea (5.8%), Turkey (5.7%), Kyrgyzstan (2.5%) and Germany (2.2%).
