Tashkent, Dec. 16, 2021 . / Kabar /. On Dec. 16-18, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to South Korea on the invitation of President Moon Jae-in, the press service of the head of state said on Wednesday.
In accordance with the program, meetings and negotiations at the highest level will be held, during which the ways of further strengthening of Uzbek-Korean relations of friendship and special strategic partnership and expansion of multifaceted cooperation will be considered.
"Particular attention will be paid to the promotion of programs and projects of practical cooperation, especially in the areas of green economy, digitalization, innovation and high technology, education, health and other priority areas," the report said.
Mirziyoyev is also expected to meet with leadership of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, representatives of major Korean companies and banking and financial institutions.
A solid package of bilateral documents is expected to be signed following the visit.
