Tashkent, July 3, 2020. /Kabar/. As of July 3, Uzbekistan’s total number of coronavirus cases has climbed to 9,199, the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry reported Friday.
295 new cases were recorded in the past day, as well as 187 patients with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 have recovered.
Uzbekistan has extended quarantine until Aug.1, and restrictions and rules on quarantine measures are in force in all regions. Since June 1, a number of activities have been allowed, depending on quarantine levels - "red" (high), "yellow" (medium) and "green" (low).
Movement of public transport in yellow and red zones will be restricted on weekends. Passengers coming from countries with poor sanitary and epidemiological situation were allowed to quarantine the hotel at their own expense. Private clinics were allowed to conduct coronavirus tests.
Since July 5, patients with mild coronivirus are treated at home under medical supervision.
In Uzbekistan, 6,343 people have recovered from the coronavirus and 27 have died. 3,138 patients are receiving treatment. Of these, 16 patients’ condition assessed as serious, 8 are in extremely serious condition.
