Uzbekistan’s coronavirus infection cases surpass 4,500

Tashkent, June 10, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. on June 10, 2020 a total number of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan has climbed to 4,547, the press service of the republic’s Health Ministry reported Wednesday.

In the past 24 hours, 99 new cases of coronavirus were revealed, 122 people have recovered and been transferred to rehabilitation.

Uzbekistan has extended quarantine until June 15, and restrictions and rules on quarantine measures are in force in all regions. Since June 1, a number of activities have been allowed, depending on quarantine levels - "red" (high), "yellow" (medium) and "green" (low).

From June 8, operation of public transport of urban and suburban routes, except for the subway was resumed in the "green" and "yellow" zones. Also, starting June 8, religious institutions in the "green" zones are resumed, while from June 15 - preschools, cafes and restaurants, clothing markets with the condition of observance sanitary safety measures.

In Uzbekistan, 3,459 people have recovered from coronavirus and 18 have died. There are 1070 patients undergoing treatment. Of these, 8 have a difficult situation, one is extremely difficult.
