Uzbekistan's two regions declared coronavirus-free

Tashkent, May 1, 2020. /Kabar/. Uzbekistan's Qashqadaryo Region has become a coronavirus-free territory, the press service of the Ministry of Health reported Friday.

In particular, the last patient was completely cured of coronavirus in the regional infectious diseases hospital.

"It is gratifying that all patients in the region have now fully recovered, making Qashqadaryo Region the second coronavirus-free region after Dzhizak.

It should be noted that medical personnel of the regional infectious diseases hospital made a special contribution to this result," the report says.

Earlier, in Dzhizak Region all coronavirus patients have also recovered.

Currently, 1134 people across Uzbekistan have been cured of coronavirus infection.
