Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX) has announced its intention to continue expansion on foreign trading platforms.
Following negotiations with business partners, new trading platforms of the exchange have recently opened their doors in Russia and Tajikistan.
In particular, foreign trading platforms started functioning in the Russian city of Perm with the assistance of the Russian Export-Import Promotion Fund, as well as in the capital of Tajikistan – Dushanbe in cooperation with the Central Asian Stock Exchange.
The launch of new trading platforms allows to freely import grain, sugar, vegetable oils and other products through the exchange's electronic trading systems. At the same time, foreign companies are able to directly enter the commodity markets of Uzbekistan using the market mechanism of exchange trading and e-commerce.
