VI meeting of scientific council of Turkic Academy held in Bishkek

Bishkek, March 28, 2023. / Kabar /. The VI meeting of the Scientific Council of the Turkic Academy was held today in Bishkek.

The event was attended by Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Imanaliev, President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafaev, as well as delegates of the member countries of the Council.

The agenda included the consideration of anniversaries, the plan of activities of the priority areas of the Turkic Academy for 2023, the determination of the date and venue of the 7th meeting of the Scientific Council. Also during the event, the participants heard the report of the President of the Turkic Academy on the activities of the Academy in 2022.

Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanybek Imanaliev said that the main goal of the Turkic Academy is the integration in the field of education and science between the member countries of the Turkic Council.

“The Turkic Academy conducts its main activities in the field of education and science. The academy will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year. Today, during the 6th meeting of the Scientific Council, we heard a report on the work done by the academy over the past year. We also made plans for the coming year. The plans are grandiose, especially they concern anniversaries. There will be also projects on the common history of the Turkic-speaking states and on the general literature and spiritual heritage of the Turkic-speaking peoples,” he concluded.

During the meeting, the participants decided to hold the 7th meeting of the Scientific Council of the Turkic Academy in Azerbaijan.

Following the meeting, the members of the Council signed the Protocol on the implementation of the main scientific areas of the Turkic Academy:

- Studies of the historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic world;

- Formation of Turkic identity in the modern period;

- Turkic languages from ancient times to the present;

- Economic cooperation and integration in the Turkic world.
