Vice Prime Minister Jenish Razakov holds meeting on Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation

Bishkek, May 15, 2019 /Kabar/. Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Jenish Razakov held a meeting on the implementation of individual items of the Action Plan for agreements implementation, as a result of negotiations between the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the President of Russia during the Russian President’s state visit to Kyrgyzstan, the government’s press service reported.

“Russian President Vladimir Putin paid a state visit to the Kyrgyz Republic at the end of March 2019. As a result, number of agreements has been reached, aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors. The degree of implementation of these agreements depends on us, including the planned opening of the offices of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Russian cities such as Irkutsk, Surgut, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Yakutsk,” he stressed.

Jenish Razakov noted about the proposal to hold a cross year of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation and the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2020.

“At the same time, special attention should be paid to the timely implementation of agreements reached at the end of the 8th Kyrgyz-Russian interregional conference. There is need to pay attention to issues such as the harmonization of national digital projects with the Eurasian Economic Union digital agenda, expansion of cooperation in the field of trade, the petrochemical industry, energy and agriculture,” vice prime minister said.
