Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2018. /Kabar/. Vice Prime Minister Jenish Razakov took part on Saturday in the 79th meeting of the CIS Economic Council, which took place in Moscow under the chairmanship of the Tajik side.
During the meeting the sides discussed matters concerning electronic exchange of information for tax administration through the implementation of the Free Trade Zone Treaty, the activity of the CIS Economic Court, and others.
Moreover, the sides made a relevant decision on the report on the implementation of International Programme entitled “Rehabilitation of Areas Affected by Uranium Production” for 2017.
In accordance with the decision, working documentation was fully developed at land rehabilitation sites, activities for engineering support of work at Kajy-Say tailing dam were launched, a survey was carried out on the technological ways of reaching Tuyuk-Suu tailing dam, based on the results of the Programme’s implementation in 2017. The Programme is being implemented with the support from the CIS member-states, its second phase is planned to be carried out till 2023.
In addition, within the meeting, the heads of delegations from the CIS member-states considered the restoration and renovation works at trade and exhibition centers of individual CIS countries, including Kyrgyzstan showroom at the All-Russia Exhibition Centre in Moscow.
