Bishkek, Oct. 18, 2018. /Kabar/. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Altynai Omurbekova met with member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People’s Republic of China Wang Chen.
Welcoming the Kyrgyz delegation, Wang Chen placed special emphasis on the consistent development of the cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China.
“In June this year, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov paid a state visit to the People’s Republic of China, which opened a new stage in the development of our cooperation”, Wang Chen told.
The Chinese side also expressed gratitude to Kyrgyzstan for the friendly relations and continuous support in very important matters for the Chinese side.
Omurbekova, in turn, noted that China is a good neighbor, important and reliable strategic partner for Kyrgyzstan.
“Indeed, the state visit of the Kyrgyz leader brought the Kyrgyz-Chinese relations to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership, thus opening a new page in the history of our interaction. We are ready to continue the dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of our peoples”, she said.
Taking note of the strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector, Wang Chen noted that Kyrgyzstan is a unique country in Central Asia, which is famous for its wonderful nature and has a great potential in tourism.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of the bilateral Kyrgyz-Chinese cooperation.
The meeting took place within the Kyrgyz delegation’s participation in the Fifth Taihu World Cultural Forum, which is taking place in Beijing
