Bishkek, Mar. 15, 2019. /Kabar/. The sides held bilateral talks led by Kyrgyz Vice Prime Minister Jenish Razakov and Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Azim Ibrokhim on Thursday March 14, from 7.30 p.m. to 8.40 p.m. in the Golovnaya section in Kok-Tash village of Ak-Sai rural district of Batken region.
The press service of the Government Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the negotiations all the most pressing issues of the joint agenda were discussed and at the moment they are continued by the representatives of the sides.
At about 9:00 pm on March 14, residents of Ak-Sai and Kok-Tash villages of Batken region were taken by buses and cars to the city of Batken. Local residents are in the building of the professional lyceum No. 57, as well as in one of the residential buildings in Aitmatov Street. Their security is ensured by the officers of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Batken.
Moreover, residents of the above villages are taken to their relatives living in Batken region and the city of Batken.
Local authorities, together with law enforcement agencies, continue to conduct awareness-raising activities among the local population on an ongoing basis.
