Bishkek, Nov. 1, 2018 / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister Zhenish Razakov took part in a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Astana (Kazakhstan).
The meeting was chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance of Russia Anton Siluanov with the participation of First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, Vice Prime Minister of Armenia Mger Grigoryan and Chairman of the EEC Board Tigran Sargsyan.
22 items were on the agenda of the meeting of the Council, concerning informatization, customs regulation, trade, industry, and international activities.
One of the key topics of discussion was a list of conditions for the application of specific criteria for the admissibility of specific subsidies, the issue of veterinary control at the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border, requirements for creating, developing and operating a cross-border trust space, a mechanism for mutual recognition of electronic accompanying documents and approval of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) budget for 2019.
In addition, the meeting participants discussed the issues of entry into force and implementation of the Interim Agreement leading to the formation of a free trade zone between the EEU and Iran and the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the EEU and China and the main directions of the international activities of the Union for 2019 were presented.
Following the meeting, the parties approved a number of documents aimed at further integration of countries within the EEU.
