Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2024. /Kabar/. Vice Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Nurbek Sydygaliev takes part in the regular autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which is being held in Strasbourg (France) from September 28 to October 4.
The press service of the Jogorku Kenesh reported that as part of the event, plenary sessions of the following committees are held: on legal issues and human rights; on migration issues, refugees and displaced persons; on social issues, health care and sustainable development; on political issues and democracy, as well as others.
This year 10 years turned since the Jogorku Kenesh received the status of "Partner for Democracy" of PACE; Kyrgyzstan is the first state in Central Asia to receive this status.
