VIII Kyrgyz-Russian inter-regional conference held in Bishkek

Bishkek, Mar. 27, 2019. /Kabar/. The VIII Kyrgyz-Russian inter-regional conference is being held in Bishkek before the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan.

About 700 participants are taking part in the conference. Vice Prime Minister Zamirbek Askarov, Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov, Advisor to the President of Russia Sergey Glazyev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Timur Maksimov spoke at the opening.

The event includes four round tables: “Ways of Realizing the integration Potential within the EAEU for the Development of Trade and Economic Interaction and Industrial Cooperation”, “Bilateral Cooperation in the Implementation of the Digital Agenda of the EAEU”, “Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, Taking into Account Transport and Logistics Opportunities” ,“Development of Investment and Financial Cooperation Mechanisms”.

At the conference, several business agreements are expected to be signed.

The event is to be held on March 27-28.
