Violations of environmental legislation worth over 9.5M revealed last year in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 17, 2022 . / Kabar / . Employees of the state forest guard revealed 358 violations of environmental legislation in Kyrgyzstan last year, the State Forestry Agency reported.

Thus, caused damage amounted to KGS 9 million 611 thousand 200.

The number of violations also includes illegal felling of trees - 201 facts with the damage in the amount of KGS 3 million 376 thousand. Facts of illegal cattle grazing - 19 with the damage of KGS 156 thousand, 93 facts of land damage worth KGS 5 million 727 thousand 600 and 43 facts of other violations, caused damage of KGS 340 thousand 300.

The Forestry Agency also said that 101 cases were submitted for review to law enforcement agencies at a total cost of KGS 2 million 801 thousand. Of which KGS 816,200 were recovered.

The total balance of uncollected cases was 168 cases to the amount of KGS 4 million 372 thousand.
