Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2020. /Kabar/. A meeting of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asia and the Republic of Korea was held on Nov. 19, 2020 in preparation for the 13th Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Azizbek Madmarov represented the Kyrgyz side.
The meeting discussed the results of preparatory meetings of working groups, expert meetings and bilateral meetings at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers ahead of the 13th Forum.
The deputy foreign ministers exchanged views on the draft Joint Statement on the results of the event, as well as discussed issues of organizational and protocol nature of the 13th meeting of the Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum.
The sides highlighted the relevance of the topics under consideration on the agenda of the upcoming meeting, and expressed hope that the event will result in joint measures to overcome the COVID-19 crisis and ensure further sustainable development of the Forum member countries.
