Vive PM Surabaldieva: Every effort will be made to further develop state language

Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2020 / Kabar /. Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Elvira Surabaldieva got acquainted with the activities of the Kyrgyztest institution and the principles of the applied methods of studying the Kyrgyz language, the press service of the government reported.

“The state will continue to make every effort to develop the state language. State and municipal employees must know the state language. All of them take a test that determines the level of proficiency in the Kyrgyz language. Recently, it became possible for ordinary citizens to take a test and determine their level of knowledge of the language. So far, the tests are paid, but there is no question of forcing someone to learn the language and cannot be. However, the person who passed the test will know his real level of language proficiency,” she said.

Elvira Surabaldieva successfully passed a test for knowledge of the state language.
