Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2018. /Kabar/. A round table was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (APAPKR) on the topic “Assessing the Training Needs of Representatives of State and Municipal Bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic”.
The purpose of the round table was to discuss the results of research on assessing the training needs of state servants in the field of security, public administration and its future prospects in the context of professional development of personnel of the Kyrgyz Republic.
About 50 representatives of state and law enforcement bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic, civil society institutions, expert community, scientific and educational circles and academic community took part in the round table.
During the event, discussions were held on improving the training of state workers, where the developed training module on improving the qualifications of state workers in the field of security and religious literacy was presented. They also discussed prospects for further raising the level of development of competencies and skills of heads of local state administrations, territorial divisions of state bodies and local governments in the sphere of state and municipal service.
This event was held in the framework of a joint project of the Institute for Development Studies of Public Administration of the APAPKR in partnership with the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, as well as methodologically supported by the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic.
