Yesterday, August 19, a meeting of the national teams of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in volleyball took place in the city of Fergana, Uzbekistan, during which the men's national team of Kyrgyzstan beat the men's national team of Uzbekistan in volleyball at the championship of the Central Asia zone.
The Volleyball Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that the Kyrgyz were at first leading with a score of 2: 1, but the Uzbeks managed to equalize, after which the decisive fifth game began. In this segment of the match, the Kyrgyz still managed to snatch victory with a score of 15:13 and thus won the match itself. The total score is 3: 2.
Earlier, within the framework of the zonal championship, the national team played two matches, in the first lost to Kazakhstan - 2: 3, in the second – defeated Tajikistan with a score of 3: 0. According to the results of the group stage matches, the participants of the semi-final will be determined, the matches of which to be held on August 21.
