Bishkek, Feb. 10, 2023 / Kabar/. The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods, according to preliminary data, in January-December 2022 amounted to about USD 12 billion and increased by 1.4 times compared to January-December 2021, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Bakytbek Shokenov told at a briefing in Bishkek.
According to him, export deliveries decreased by 20.5%, while import deliveries, on the contrary, increased by 1.7%.
“The volume of mutual trade in goods of the Kyrgyz Republic with the EAEU member states in January-December 2022, according to preliminary data, amounted to USD 4.5 billion and, compared to January-December 2021, increased by 32.3%,” he said.
