Osh, Sept. 19, 2018. /Kabar/. The volume of foreign investments attracted to the economy of Jalal-Abad increased ten-fold within the period of January-September. 2018, the Department of Economic Development under Jalal-Abad Mayor’s Office reported.
Head of the Department Salijan Umarov told that within the period of 9 months of 2017 foreign investments of 45 million 100 thousand soms were attracted, while 459 million 200 thousand soms were attracted within the period of January-September of this year. The growth rate came to 1018.2 percents.
The growth rate domestic investments for the period of 9 months of 2018 came to 107 percents or 1 billion 189 million 400 thousand soms, which is higher than the same period of the last year by 77 million 800 thousand soms.
The total volume of all the investments for the period of 9 months of 2018 increased by 491 million 900 thousand soms and amounted to 1 billion 648 million 600 thousand soms, as compared to the last year. The growth rate came to 142.5 percents.
