The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods in Kyrgyzstan in January-September 2021 amounted to USD 5 billion and increased by 19.6% compared to the same period in 2020, chief specialist of the department of statistics of foreign economic activity of the National Statistical Committee Aizhara Mamoeva told.
According to her data, while export supplies decreased by 22.5%, import receipts, on the contrary, increased by 43.6%.
“The volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with the EAEU (Eurasian Econimic Union) member states in January-September 2021 amounted to USD 2.4 billion and increased by 29% compared to January-September 2020. Export deliveries increased by 32.2% and import receipts - by 28.1%.
The largest share of the republic's mutual trade with the EAEU member states in January-September fell on Russia - 64.3% and Kazakhstan - 33.3%,” she said.
