Bishkek, Dec.9, 2024. /Kabar/. In January-November 2024, the volume of industrial production amounted to more than KGS 513 billion, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Zainidin Zhumaliev said at a briefing in Bishkek on Monday.
Compared to January-November 2023, 4.8% increase is related to growth in the production of refined petroleum products by 1.8 times, wood and paper products, printing activities by 31.4%, food (including beverages) and tobacco products by 20.1%, textile and clothing production by 13.8%, pharmaceutical products by 12.3%, as well as rubber, plastic products and construction materials by 9.9%.
Deputy Chairman Zainidin Zhumaliev added that positive trends were observed in construction, where the increase in volumes amounted to 32.6%, wholesale and retail trade - 18.5%, as well as in agriculture - 6.2%.
