Bishkek, Feb. 11, 2022 . / Kabar /. The volume of industrial production in January 2022 amounted to more than KGS 22 billion, the National Statistics Committee of Kyrgyzstan reported Friday.
Compared to January last year, this figure fell by 4.5% due to a reduction in the production of chemical products (20.5%), rubber and plastic products and other non-metallic mineral products (18.7%), food (including drinks) and tobacco (7.7%), as well as in mining (6.6%).
Positive trends were observed in construction, where the increase in volume amounted to 1.6%, agriculture - 2.4%, wholesale and retail trade - 7.3%.
