Bishkek, July 11, 2024. / Kabar/. The volume of industrial production in January-June 2024 amounted to 237 billion soms, First Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee Nazira Kerimalieva told.
According to her data, the figure increased by 1.0% compared to January-June 2023 due to an increase in the production of refined petroleum products by 55.8%, wood and paper products, printing activities by 28.8%, food products (including drinks) and tobacco products by 17.9%, pharmaceutical products by 16.6%, chemical products by 14.4%, rubber, plastic products and building materials by 8.9%, as well as in textile and clothing production by 8.6 %.
Positive trends were observed in construction, where the increase in volumes was 48.5%, wholesale and retail trade - 21.0%, as well as in agriculture - 3.3%.
