Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2022 . / Kabar /. In 2021, volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) reached $3.4 billion, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the republic Daniyar Amangeldiev said at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He added that the volume of Kyrgyzstan’s trade with EAEU member states in January-December 2021 amounted to $3.4 billion, having increased by 40.5% as compared to 2020.
Thus, Russia accounted for the largest share of the republic’s mutual trade with the Union’s member states - 66.7%, and Kazakhstan - 30.9%.
"Thus, 2021 was the first year of executive authorities in the new system of public administration, which required changes in approaches to work. It was a difficult transitional phase, during which we had to mobilize all available resources in order to ensure smooth operation," the minister said.
In addition, the country's economy was developing in the post-COVID-19 period, which is characterized as a situation with all the signs of restructuring of the global economic system.
