Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2021 . / Kabar /. As of Nov. 24, the volume of water in the Toktogul reservoir was 11 billion 239.80 million cubic meters, the press service of the National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan OJSC said Wednesday.
The water inflow is 168 cubic meters per second and the discharge - 474 cubic meters per second.
This year, low-water period is observed in Kyrgyzstan. The National Energy Holding recommended that citizens use electricity rationally and limit lighting of advertisements and facades of stores, cafes, and other non-household customers.
Based on calculations of water and energy regimes of Toktogul reservoir water use and forecast data, limits are established on the inflow of water for all regions of the country.
