Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2022. / Kabar /. President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping will visit Kyrgyzstan. This became known following the talks between President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and Chinese leader Xi Jinping at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO Member States in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
The heads of state discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz-Chinese bilateral cooperation, the implementation of top-level agreements and joint projects in various fields.
During the meeting, Sadyr Zhaparov invited Xi Jinping to visit Kyrgyzstan.
“I am convinced that this visit will be a great contribution to the strengthening and development of good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China, to raising bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level,” he said.
In turn, Xi Jinping accepted Sadyr Zhaparov's invitation to visit Kyrgyzstan, the dates of the visit will be worked out through diplomatic channels.
