Tashkent, Aug. 18, 2021 . / Kabar / . Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed on Aug. 17 a decree on increasing salaries, pensions, scholarship and allowances by 10% on average starting from Sept.1, UzA news agency reported.
The main purpose is to expand the scale of measures aimed at improving the standard of living, further strengthening social protection of citizens and financial support for needy families during the coronavirus pandemic, and to increase their income consistently, the document says.
Last time the salaries, scholarships and the size of some benefits, as well as the minimum wage and the basis of calculation were raised on Feb.1 this year.
