Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2021 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met with Head of the Board of Trustees of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, WAMY Secretary General Dr. Saleh Al-Wahaibi.
At the meeting, Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev voiced the possibility of supporting the restoration and early commissioning of Altyn Balalyk medical and rehabilitation complex for children and persons with disabilities in Cholpon Ata, the press service of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry reported.
In turn, Secretary General of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth Saleh Al-Wahaibi noted the readiness to support this issue and provide assistance in the amount of USD 100 thousand.
The Kyrgyz health minister expressed gratitude to the Fund for support to the health system in strengthening the material and technical base of health organizations.
The sides agreed to develop a draft memorandum between the Assembly and the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan in the near future to implement the above-mentioned agreement.
On Oct. 15, Kyrgyzstan’s Health Ministry held a charity marathon to raise funds for the repair and restoration of Altyn-Balalyk medical and rehabilitation complex in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul Oblast.
As of today, the total amount of funds received is KGS 30,090 million.
Currently, the repair work in the medical and rehabilitation complex is underway.
