Bishkek, Oct.2, 2019. /Kabar/. Within the framework of his working visit to Washington, Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov met with U.S. Deputy Assistant of Attorney General, Counsellor for International Affairs Bruce Swartz.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, the state and prospects of development of bilateral cooperation between the sides were discussed.
The minister expressed his gratitude to the American side for the assistance, provided in the recovery of part of the illegally removed assets from the Kyrgyz Republic, stressing this step is a good example of cooperation between the two democratic countries in the fight against corruption.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed the issues of strengthening the bilateral relations on legal cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the USA. In this regard, Bruce Swartz expressed the support and willingness of the American side to activate the work on the existing issues of bilateral agenda.
