Today there is an acute problem of lack of irrigation water in the country. This is due to the fact that there is a lack of water and not only in our country, which can affect the autumn harvest of all agricultural and forage crops, the report said.
The ministry is taking all measures and negotiating with neighboring countries, where 15 thousand tons of wheat from Kazakhstan will be purchased, and China will also allocate about 40 thousand tons of flour, 20 thousand tons of sugar and 20 thousand tons of vegetable oil. All products will go to the state reserve.
“We are developing plans to minimize damage, achieve a ban on the export of forage crops, abolish VAT (12%) on the export of sugar and vegetable oil. That will give a decrease in prices for these products, the possibility of importing in large volumes into the country. It is planned to rebook 4 thousand tons of wheat from the state reserve fund to support poultry farmers, headquarters are working in the regions to eliminate problems,” Deputy Minister of Agriculture Marsbek uulu Ilich said.
