Bishkek, April 24, 2023. / Kabar /. According to official statistics, there are almost 1 million 200 thousand children of preschool age in Kyrgyzstan, of which 24% or more than 200 thousand children are covered by preschool education, 76% or about 900 thousand children are not covered, Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Kyrgyz Republic Assel Chynbayeva told.

Speaking during a press conference at Kabar Agency she said that children who are not covered by preschool education lag behind in their early development, which affects their future.

“In this regard, within the framework of the 100-day reform program based on the Government Accelerators methodology, which was launched in Kyrgyzstan in March this year, regulations and standards have been developed, in accordance with which the private party (individuals) with preferential regulatory legal, sanitary and educational requirements can start an entrepreneurial activity (open a kindergarten at home) on the basis of a patent,” she said.

As part of the implementation of the Government Accelerators methodology, individual interdepartmental working groups must identify, solve industry problems and achieve their goals within 100 days.

Thus, the first group, led by the Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Kyrgyz Republic Asel Chynbayeva, found ways to solve the problem of the shortage of preschool education in the country.
