Bishkek, Sept. 23. 2024. /Kabar/. Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev accompanied by a delegation of the World Bank led by Wencai Zhang, Managing Director and World Bank Chief Administrative Officer, visited the 6th Family Medicine Center in Bishkek.
The delegation also included World Bank Regional Director for Central Asia Tatiana Proskuryakova and World Bank Country Manager for the Kyrgyz Republic Hugh Riddell, the press service of the Health Ministry reported.
During the visit, the World Bank representatives familiarized with the achievements in the field of digital health.
Special attention was paid to the Sanarip Clinic information system, which includes several key modules for maintaining patients' digital medical records:
1. Online doctor's appointment - patients can remotely make an appointment, which facilitates access to medical care.
2. Registry - provides prompt appointment and e-ticket generation.
3. Patient's outpatient card - a digital document containing complete information about the patient's health status, with integration of all medical data.
4. Assigned population - a unified database of patients assigned to medical institutions.
5. Sheet of disability - electronic sick leave, which is officially recognized by all organizations, regardless of their form of ownership.
In addition, the iLAB Laboratory Information System, which automates the process of registration and processing of laboratory analyses, was presented.
Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev highly appreciated the joint work with the World Bank and emphasized the importance of digital development in health care as one of the tools to improve the quality of care.
