Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2020 / Kabar /. “We are in contact with all the sides to the conflict in Kyrgyzstan,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said answering questions from a journalist of the Russia 1 TV channel.
Putin said that the recent parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan were recognized as valid and democratic not only by international observers, but also by representatives of the OSCE.
“And what happened there after that, of course, we have every reason to be concerned about it. We hope that everything will be settled peacefully. We hope that a normal democratic political process will be restored. And, I will repeat once again, this should happen as soon as possible. We keep in touch with all the participants, with all the sides to this conflict, and I want to hope that after the internal political situation normalizes, we will continue to implement all our plans with Kyrgyzstan. I mean that Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Eurasian Economic and we have a lot of joint work planned,” Putin said.
