Bishkek, Feb. 22, 2022 . / Кабар / . As part of his working trip to Batken Oblast, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov visited a number of production facilities located in the region, the press service of the Cabinet reported.
Thus, he visited the slate production plant built by Kant Pipe and Slate Enterprise LLC in 2020.
During the inspection of the enterprise, issues of its current activities, plans for further development and expansion of production were discussed.
The chairman of the Cabinet noted that this plant is a vivid example of good managerial work.
"We always try to support domestic producers. Under the law "On the status of Batken Oblast", enterprises are exempt from taxes for 5 years. We are ready to create all conditions for the development of the industry," Akylbek Zhaparov said.
The slate plant products are sold not only in the Kyrgyz Republic, but are also exported to neighboring countries - Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
In the course of the production inspection, problems of domestic industrial enterprises were voiced. In particular, competitiveness of national enterprises in the market, where smuggled products are also distributed at an undervalued price was discussed. Entrepreneurs also mentioned the imperfection of legislation in terms of entrepreneur support.
Further, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers familiarized with the activities of the Aidarken mercury plant and visited the Kadamjay antimony plant.
After visiting the industrial enterprises, Akylbek Zhaparov once again pointed out that the Cabinet of Ministers is working to de-bureaucratize the legislation.
