“We cooperate at a sufficient level with international organizations working in our country, such as Penal Reform International (PRI), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Program Office in Bishkek, the Soros Foundation. Cooperation with international organizations of the UN system is being established. As of today, we have a good assessment of international experts in the field of human rights regarding the model of the National Centre. The last two years have shown that we can rely on the support of the Parliament and the Kyrgyz Government,” he said.
The “26 days against torture” information campaign was held since the beginning of June, which was conducted by PRI in the Kyrgyz Republic and the NCPT with the support of the European Union in Kyrgyzstan and the British Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.
