Bishkek, Oct. 12, 2023. /Kabar/. “We highly appreciate the work done by Kyrgyzstan during its chairmanship in the Commonwealth of Independent States,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin during negotiations with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov in an expanded format as part of his official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.

“First of all, I would like to thank President Sadyr Zhaparov for the invitation to the meeting, we really have good reasons. And without any reason, this visit is already overdue. I am very happy to be in Kyrgyzstan today.

We highly appreciate the work done by Kyrgyzstan during its chairmanship of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Russia is taking up the baton and will chair the CIS in 2024,” Putin said.
