Week of Kyrgyz cuisine in New Delhi

Bishkek, April 26 / Kabar /. A week of Kyrgyz cuisine is completed in New Delhi, timed to mark the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and India, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The celebration of the Week of Kyrgyz Cuisine with the presentation of national dishes of Kyrgyzstan was held in New Delhi with great success.

The purpose of the event is to promote domestic products in the Indian market, familiarize with the culture and traditions of the Kyrgyz people.

In the five-star Pullman Hotel, for about ten days, visitors and guests of the restaurant at the famous hotel were treated and delighted with various delicacies of Kyrgyz cuisine prepared from products from Kyrgyzstan.

In the lunch menu of the restaurant, along with the standard Indian menu, there were dishes prepared according to traditional Kyrgyz recipes offered and cooked by the chefs with the support of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in India.

Particularly they prepared besh barmak, kuurdak, manty, pilaf, boorsok, chak-chak.

The week of Kyrgyz cuisine was accompanied by an exhibition of handicrafts, concerts, a presentation of Kyrgyz national clothes.
