Week of traditional music week kicks off in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 20, 2022 / Kabar /. A week of traditional music started in Bishkek on Wednesday.

Master classes from masters in the manufacture of national instruments and an exhibition of national traditional clothing and household tools "Heritage of the Nation" are organized within the music week.

The week of traditional music is timed to coincide with the celebration of the Day of Traditional Music - April 25th and will last until April 25.

The aim of the week is to preserve, improve and develop traditional music, layers of oral-professional music in folklore and oral tradition in the era of globalization.
