Bishkek hosts welcoming ceremony for heads of state participating in CIS Summit

Bishkek, Oct. 13, 2023. /Kabar/. A welcoming ceremony for the heads of countries participating in the meeting of the Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States took place in Bishkek.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the meeting.

In the congress hall at the Ala-Archa State Residence, the leaders of the CIS countries were welcomed by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov.

At the end of the welcoming ceremony and joint photography, the heads of state headed to the hall to participate in a meeting of the CIS Council in a limited format.
