Abu-Dhabi, Nov. 18, 2022 / Kabar/. According to the adopted five-year Strategic Plan for 2023-2027, Kyrgyzstan will receive support in the amount of USD 90 million for the implementation of various programs to overcome poverty and maintain food security. Another USD 15 million will be provided for projects aimed at active measures to combat poverty.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration, Minister Kudaibergen Bazarbaev, at the second session of the World Food Programme, presented measures to overcome poverty and food security programs implemented with the support of WFP in Kyrgyzstan.
Further, Bazarbaev held a series of meetings with the Permanent Representatives of the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the Federal Republic of Germany and Japan at WFP.
