What is new in the new agreement of KNU and MSU? – Rector Sadovnichy’s reply

Bishkek, Mar. 27, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz National University (KNU) named after Balasagyn and Moscow State University (MSU) named after Lomonosov will sign an updated Memorandum of Cooperation today, which suggests new ways of interaction.

Rector of Moscow State University Victor Sadovnichy told the Kabar News Agency that the agreement would be to deepen a comprehensive exchange.

“Most likely, it will be in the spirit of the Vernadsky program and will present a certain consortium, which involves exchange of scientific research, exchange of remote forms, and other forms of exchange, which will affect the new step of our cooperation with the rich past,” Sadovnichy shared.

As is known, the essence of the Vernadsky program, with which Sadovnichy compared the updated Memorandum of Cooperation between Moscow State University and KNU, is to establish links with other universities in the most advanced areas of this institution. Collaboration and joint work here is organization of joint departments, laboratories, centers for collective use.
