Bishkek, Dec. 26, 2018. /Kabar/. Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev told when Kazakhstan will start exporting gasoline to Kyrgyzstan at a briefing in the press room of the Central Communications Service of Kazakhstan, Kazinform Agency reported.
“Last week we received a response from the Kyrgyz side; held talks and sent out an agreed version to state bodies. We hope that if we do everything before the new year, we will sign an agreement with Kyrgyzstan in the first half of January. As soon as we sign it, in February we will have the opportunity to export, first of all, gasoline,” Kanat Bozumbayev said, answering journalists’ questions.
Further, he focused on the issue of diesel fuel export.
“We are not going to export diesel fuel, because we must first work on the border aspect in regard with diesel fuel, understand the actual consumption in Kazakhstan. There will be a different order in conjunction with the Ministry of Finance regarding diesel fuel. We will have additional posts at the border, which will strengthen export control. As for aviation kerosene, we are already opening 100% and we will probably start exporting,” Kanat Bozumbayev added.
