Bishkek, Aug. 6, 2020. /Kabar/. Vaccination of Kyrgyzstan’s population against SRAS and flu will begin in late September 2020. Ainura Akmatova, the Head of the Public Health Department of the republic’s Health Ministry said a news briefing.
According to her, a tender for purchase of 111,000 doses has already been announced.
"An application for 700 thousand doses is still being prepared. Vaccination will begin at the end of September. People at risk - citizens over 65, medics, people with chronic diseases, children in orphanages, pregnant women and children from boarding schools will receive vaccinations first,” the Health Ministry’s representative added.
Akmatova said a total of 700 thousand people are at risk.
