Bishkek, Apr. 28, 2020 / Kabar /. The measures taken by the Government of Kyrgyzstan in the fight against COVID-19 had a positive impact on the epidemiological situation as a whole, head of the WHO technical mission Michal Madeyski told Monday at a press conference.
He said it would help fight coronavirus.
It should be noted that, through WHO, a group of medical specialists from Poland, consisting of 8 people, arrived in Kyrgyzstan on April 19. They came to assist Kyrgyz medical workers in the fight against coronavirus infection in Bishkek, Osh and Jalal-Abad.
According to the results of the work, regarding the preparedness of the doctors, Madeyski said that it was an honor for the team to work side by side with such doctors. “The level is high and they work according to international standards and possess the knowledge that has been accumulated in the world in the fight against coronavirus,” he added.
