Bishkek, Oct. 01, 2018. /Kabar/. An international athletics tournament was held in Bishkek for the prizes of Olympic champion Maria Pinigina, the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Competitions took place last weekend at Dolon Omurzakov stadium.
The Kyrgyz sportsmen have 15 medals in their collection, of them three are gold, four –silver, and ten - bronze.
The champions are Karina Danilina (100m and 100m with barriers) and Ainuska Kalil kyzy (800m).
The second place was taken by Arthur Adamov (javelin throwing), Maxim Shcherbakov (shot put), Karina Malaeva (300m with barriers) and Tilek Kalygulov (3000m).
At the third stage of the pedestal are Aizhan Ismanova (shot put), Rafael Muratbekov (400m), Aleksey Trifonov (800m), Tilek Kalygulov (1500m), Shamil Musuraliev (300m), Karina Malaeva (300 with hurdles), Angelina Potselueva (high jump), Artur Baichorov (long jumps) and Valentin Drozhzhin (javelin throwing).
Moreover, in 4 * 100 meters relay the girls team from Kyrgyzstan became bronze medal winner.
Maria Pinigina (Kulchunova in girlhood) was born in Ivanovka village in Kyrgyzstan, is a Soviet track and field athlete, Olympic champion in 4 × 400 meters relay, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1984).
At the Olympics in Seoul, along with Tatyana Ledovskaya, Olga Nazarova and Olga Bryzgina, she set a world record - 3:15.17. This achievement is held up to now.
