Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2018. / Kabar /. By the decision of the interdepartmental commission, Manson Group LLC was recognized as the winner of the competition for the creation of an enterprise on Makmalzoloto Combine branch.
The press service of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC reported that three companies took part in the competition: Manson Group LLC, Shinkykyiuan Frunze LLC, Central Asian Metallcom LLC.
In order to increase employment and develop the region’s economy, it proposed: construction of a sports complex; construction of a water utility for irrigation; production of building materials from waste sand (brick, sand block, paving slabs); construction of a milk processing plant; construction of a greenhouse for growing vegetables; social assistance to the population of the area; training and professional development of enterprise employees from the local population.
Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC will enter into an investment agreement with the winner of the contest on joint activities within 30 calendar days (December / January). If the Winner refuses to conclude the Agreement, Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC has the right to conclude an Agreement with the participant following the Winner. At the same time, the guarantee fee of the Winner will be withheld by the organizer of the Competition - Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC.
On Sept. 1 of this year, the gold production at the Makmal deposit was temporarily suspended until the transfer to the investor. Since the mineral resource base of the deposit is completely depleted, further work was economically unprofitable.
In this connection, in order to extend the life of the mine, employment of the local population, a competition was held in order to create a joint venture on the basis of the branch Makmalzoloto Combine.
It should be noted that Makmal is the oldest and the very first gold deposit in Kyrgyzstan. It was launched in 1986. According to the technical and economic calculations, it was planned to extract ore within ten years.
