Winners of Holy Quran reading contest awarded in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 10, 2023. / Kabar /. The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Bishkek awarded the winners of the competition for reading the Holy Quran.

Diplomats from the Embassy of the Saudi Arabia in Kyrgyzstan took part in the awarding ceremony for the winners of the competition for reading the Holy Quran, held in three categories. The competition was organized under the leadership of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan and dedicated to the holy month of Ramadan.

The Supreme Mufti of Kyrgyzstan, Zamir Rakiev, spoke at the awarding ceremony and expressed gratitude to the Embassy of the KSA in Kyrgyzstan for their attention and support in holding the event.

In addition, the chairman of the Ulema Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, religious scholars, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh and other guests also noted the great contribution of Saudi Arabia to the teaching and research of the Holy Quran in Kyrgyzstan.

Ambassador of the Saudi Arabia to the Kyrgyz Republic Ibrahim bin Radi Al-Radi personally presented the prizes to the winners and wished them success.

The participants of the competition, in turn, noted that such competitions inspire them to further study the Holy Quran. In conclusion, they thanked the leadership of Saudi Arabia for the support of the readers.
