Bishkek, Jan.15, 2020 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek hosted the Republic's Open Athletics Championship.
According to the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic, the tournament among athletes aged 16 and older was held on Jan. 10-11 at the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports.
About 200 athletes from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan competed for medals.
Participants competed in the following disciplines: shot put, high jump, long jump, 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 3000m race and 60m hurdles.
In 60m race, Nikolai Kotlyarov became the winner among men, Tatiana Rybakova - among women.
Shakhzatbek Sadykzhan uulu and Nurganym Sarybayeva became first in the 200m distance.
Shakhzatbek Sadykzhan and Sara Batmanova took first place in 400m race, Zhusup Sulaiman uulu and Alymkan Jamshitbekova- in 800m, Samat Kazakbayev and Aidana Baktybek kyzy-1500m and 3000m distance.
Danil Karin and Zlata Solovieva ranked 1st in 60m hurdles.
